Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Nihon University College of Art, studied under Aoki Shokichi at Hachijo Pottery in 1965 and Miwa Yoshiko in Tokyo, established Minobu Kiln in 1975, and moved to Yamanashi Prefecture in 1979. Participated in the Yamanashi Ceramic Art Exhibition and other regional exhibitions. Held solo exhibitions at the Roppongi Ceramic Salon, Kofu Tajima Department Store and others. Participated in a series of pottery exhibitions at Matsuzakaya Department Store in Ginza. Member of the same association. Member of Yamanashi Zokei Bijutsu. Blessed with nature, he mainly uses ash glaze and iron glaze. All of his pots are made using the tapping technique.
