Born in Sapporo. Completed graduate studies at Tama Art University. Moved to Kasama City in 1980 and established the Miyabi Kiln. Awarded the Asahi Prize at the Hokkaido Bikyo Exhibition and the Yomiuri newspaper company prize. Won an honorable mention at the Ibaraki Prefectural Exhibition. Bronze Prize at the First Art Exhibition. Selected for the New Traditional Craft Exhibition and others.
