1952-
Born in Okayama City. Graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kyushu Sangyo University. After working for a machine design company, he came across Bizen Pottery and joined the Bizen Pottery Center in 1980. Studied under Kimura Takaaki. Became independent in 1983.
