Born in Seto City. Graduated from Nagoya Technical College. Began teaching at his alma mater, Seto Ceramics High School, and retired in 1967. Selected for Nitten exhibition, Chunichi Prize. Member and retired from the Kofu-kai Exhibition, including the Craft Prize and the Mr. H Prize. Received the Governor’s Prize at the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, and was selected for the Japan New Craft Exhibition, the Japan Contemporary Craft Exhibition, and Chunichi International Exhibition. Preserved his works for many years in Seto City. Mainly black glaze and ash glaze.
