Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, majoring in ceramics. Awarded prizes at the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and others. Honorable Mention at the New Work Exhibition. Mainly works with colored porcelain. Regular member of Japan Kogei Association.
