Born in Imari. Born in Imari, in the traditional Nabeshima domain kilns of Okawa-Nakayama, he is the 13th generation since Kizaemon I. He learned pottery techniques from his father, Kamoyama, and inherited the Gongen-dani Kiln.He mines potter’s clay from the Matsuura area to make clay, and uses the traditional Karatsu technique and washi-zome tequniqu to make mainly blue ceradon case. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition.
