Born in Osaka. Studied painting under Matsumoto Takao from an early age. Graduated from Tezukayama Junior College, majoring in Japanese cultural history, and completed the graduate course at the same college. Later studied ceramics under Tsuboi Asuka. Received the Silver Prize at Sotsuten exhibition and the Newcomer’s Prize at the Women’s Ceramic Art Competition. Her work focuses on three-dimensional modeling and line carving inlay.
