Born in Suginami, Tokyo. Works at the Norinchukin Bank as an executive. Studied ceramic art under Karasugi Toko, Chairman of Toko-kai. Awarded the Gunen Prize at the Gunen Art Exhibition and other prizes. Member of Gunen Art Association. He works mainly with iron glaze, scorched surface coloring, ash glaze, and Irabo for vases and tea ceremony utensils.
