Studied pottery making under Ono Masayo, a member of the Toko-kai. Established Daichi Kiln in Akishima, Tokyo, and produced mainly large pieces using kneading and wax resist. He was awarded a prize at the Toko-kai National Exhibition. He is a member of the same association.
