Born in Sakhalin. In 1968, she was selected for the first time for the Hokkaido Bikyo Exhibition, and has since received the Mainichi Newspaper Award, Honorable Mention Award, Kaiyu Award, and membership. She was selected for the Women’s Ceramic Art Exhibition, Kyoto Mayor’s Prize, and is a member. She has had a series of two-person exhibitions with her husband, Atsuo, at Daido Gallery in Sapporo. She mainly works with iron glaze.
