Born in Tamba. Studied under Ikuta Kazutaka, and became independent in 1978. Selected for the Japan Folk Art Museum Exhibition. Awarded the Maeda Prize at the National Exhibition. Solo exhibitions at Kobe Gallery Hikobae, Osaka Maruzen and others. Mainly works with chamfering, pattern, and amber glaze.
