Born in Fukuoka Prefecture. After encountering Song dynasty ceramics in the National Palace Museum, he decided to pursue ceramics and left the construction company where he worked for many years. After leaving the company, he traveled all over Japan in search of materials such as clay and ashes, and built a kiln in Shimada City. He has tried his hand at Song ceramics using his own unique method. His works have been selected for the Japan Traditional Craft New Works Exhibition, the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, and Chunichi International Exhibition. Solo exhibition at Shizuoka Matsuzakaya store.
