Born in Matsumoto City. Graduated from Meiji University. Studied at the Tajimi Ceramic Design Institute. Returned to his hometown in 1977 and studied under his father, Yoshikazu, and grandfather, Kondo Yuzo. Received the Newcomer’s Prize and Honorable Mention at the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition. Awarded the SBC Prize and the Excellence Prize at the Nagano Prefecture Craft Association. Selected for the New Traditional Craft Exhibition and others. Member of the Prefectural Craft Association and the Prefectural Ceramic Society. Solo exhibition at Takashimaya Department Store in Nihonbashi, Osaka. Focuses on celadon, white porcelain, and ash glaze.
