His pen name is Akiho. While making tea utensils of Tokoname vermilion clay, he also studied pottery carving. Built a kiln in Maruyama in 1970 and named it Akogama. Received the Chozo Prize and other awards. Member of the Tokoname Handmade Teapot Association, the Japan Sculpture Society, the Japan Ceramic Sculpture Society, and the Tokoname Ceramic Sculpture Society, the Tokoname Handmade Teapot Society. Focuses on ceramic sculpture.
