Pen name is Maro. Born in Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture. Graduated from Kyoto College of Technology (now Kyoto Institute of Technology). He has been awarded a special prize at the Japan Contemporary Craft Exhibition, the Contemporary Craft Award, and other prizes. He was awarded a special prize at the Otsu City Exhibition and the City Exhibition Prize. Selected for the Nitten and other exhibitions. Member of the Contemporary Kogei Artists Association. He creates a new design about Oribe pottery using Shigaraki clay.
