Studied under Yasuda Yasuhiro in Ise and Nishikawa Minoru in Kyoto. Returned to his hometown in 1967 and studied under his father, Seiho the first. Became independent the following year. Named Kishu-yaki Kokucho Kiln. Served as a judge at the Wakayama Prefectural Exhibition. Vice-chairman of the Wakayama Prefecture Ceramic Association and member of the Wakayama Prefecture Art Association. Mainly produces Kishu celadon and Kishu black pottery.
