Inherited the tradition of Agano ware and produced pottery based on Fuzen-Takanoha ware. His real name is Hidetoshi. Invited to Tagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture to revive Agano ware by his great-grandfather and succeeded his father, Tetsuo. Etsuo of Hikosan-ware is his younger brother.
