Born in Miyagi Prefecture. Graduated from Musashino Art University. He learned under Tsuji Seimei (1927-2008). Studied in Mashiko and Kyoto, and built a kiln in Atami in 1976. Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, the Issuikai Exhibition, and others. Solo exhibitions at Shibuya Seibu, Ginza Kuroda Pottery Garden, and Shinjuku Odakyu. Associate member of Japan Kogei Association. Works with Kohiki, Akae, and silver painting.
