Sakakibara Hozan 榊原芳山

Born in Inbe, they trained at Tokeido in 1932 and later studied under the first generation of Matsuda Kazan. After the war, they worked for a local brick company during the difficult period of Bizen Pottery and established Keisui Kiln in 1971. They have been producing mainly tea ceremony pottery, hand-molded teapots, original ceramic plate clocks, and vermilion mud works.
