In 1959, he helped his father to develop Mt. Koya, and together they restored an old style cellar kiln. 1979, he established his own kiln, Tenjin Kiln. 1982, he opened Waidani Ceramic Village (Yoshinaga-cho, Wake County) with his brother’s study. He is a judge for the Governor’s Prize at the Traditional Craft Branch Exhibition. He is a regular member of Japan Kogei Association.
