Born in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. Aspired to become a potter under the influence of Yanagi Soetsu. Graduated from Kyoto Ceramics Training School. Studied under Ueda Tsuneji. Received Japan Folk Crafts Museum Exhibition Honorable Mention. National Exhibition Nojima Award and others. Mainly worked with white porcelain and printing.
