Born in Miyazaki prefecture. Began training under Saga Arita and learned how to use the potter’s wheel from Inoue Manji. After making ceramics at a local pottery factory, she opened an o-yashiki kiln alongside her husband Akira in Hachioji, Tokyo. Solo exhibitions held at Shinjuku Kakito, other venues. Primarily blue-white ceramics.
