1948-femaleGraduated from Musashino Art University in 1970 and later studied under Nagumo Ryu. Established Shinshiro kiln in Kawasaki in 1973 and established Yamagiwa Pottery in Atsugi in 1975. Recipient of the FUJI Biennale Silver Award, Kanagawa Exhibition Scholarship Award, Special Honorable Mention, Contemporary Crafts Memorial Award, other honors. Associate member of Gendai Kogei. Member of Shinsei and Atsugi Shin-Kobi. Solo exhibitions held at Ginza Muramatsu Gallery and other venues.
