From Kagoshima Prefecture. Studied under Koyama Fujio and Nakazato Takashi. Succeeded Tanegashima kiln that Nakazato Takashi left behind and started making ceramics. Also sought to restore Tanegashima Kumano ware. Mainly created sake vessels, flower vessels, and tableware with high-fired unglazed ceramics.
