1948-
Born in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Industrial Design. After working in the design office of a furniture company, he completed the Aichi Ceramic Vocational Training School and established his own kiln in Higashi Yamanashi-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture in 1984. He has held solo exhibitions in Yaizu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Aoyama, Tokyo, Akasaka Mitsuke, Toyokawa, Aichi Prefecture, and elsewhere. He mainly produces blue-and-white tableware.
