From Osaka. Graduated from Shiga Prefectural Shigaraki High School and Osaka University of Arts. Trained at the Akazu ware kiln, later served as a Ceramic Instructor and Traditional Ceramic Instructor of blue and white pottery under the Locality Promotion Act (for laborers), and studied under Kato Gozan from the Seto Gozan Studio. Selected for the Chunichi International Exhibition of Ceramic Arts and Asahi Ceramic Exhibition, Works focus on white porcelain and ceramic sculptures.
