Graduated from the Ceramics Department of Ishikawa Prefectural Technical High School. In 1957, he succeeded to the third generation, and in 1963, he established the Banzan Kiln in Echizen Ceramic Village. He won a prize at the Ishikawa Craft Exhibition. Mainly produces natural glaze and smoked ware.
