Born in Tokyo. Became independent in 1934, and opened a kiln in 1976 in Wadaki, Atami City. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and others. Solo exhibitions at Shinjuku Odakyu Department Store, Minami Aoyama Green Gallery, etc. Works with Shino, Oribe, Kohiki, etc. Full member of Japan Kogei Association.
