From Tokyo. Graduated from Hosei University. Entered ceramics through self-education. Studied Raku ware based on advice from Kuroda Ryoji. Made ceramics with porcelain clay from Kyoto. Works focus on Maku-yu glaze, Shu-gusuri glaze, and Sa-yu sand glaze.
