The third son of the 10th generation Tozaburo and became independent under a branch family. Studied under Kato Hajime and Kato Takikawa. Selected for the Japanese Traditional Craft Art Exhibition, Japan Fine Arts Exhibition, Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, and other exhibitions. Won the Seto Ceramic Exhibition Mayor’s Award, Kansai Fine Art Exhibition Saito Award, and other awards. Works focus on Kizeto ware, Ko-Seto ware, kohiki, and Irabo teacups.
