From Nogata, Fukuoka. Discovered the appeal of ceramics when visiting kilns while working at a company and studied under Ishihara Shoji. Won the Seibu Craft Art Exhibition Bronze Award. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Art Exhibition and other exhibitions. Works focus on charcoal Zogan inlay work and Yakishime.
