Restored Aidoji ware, the local ancient kiln that continued from the Meiwa era in the Edo period until the Meiji era, in 1972. Studied under Shinoda Giichi. Succeeded the traditions of folk ceramics that are rich in rusticity and developed Shin-Aidoji ware. Selected for the Nagano Prefectural Craft Art Exhibition and Prefectural Fine Art Exhibition. Works focus on Hai-yu ash glaze.
