Born in Kuromuta, Takeo. Graduated from Arita Technical High School. Worked with traditional ceramics alongside his father and brother Masami in Kuromuta. Constructed a kiln on the site of the ruins of the traditional Kyushu Ichinose kiln in 1965. Three seats at the Kyushu Yamaguchi Exhibition. Recipient of the Mainichi Ceramics Exhibition Semi-Grand Prize, Contemporary Craft Kyushu Exhibition Kirihana Award (Special Selection). Received awards at Saga Prefecture Exhibition and Fukuoka Prefecture Exhibition, others. Member of Kyushu New Craft. Primarily focused on the salt glaze technique, where salt and firewood are employed simultaneously during firing to create a glossy finish.
