From Imbe. Graduated from Bizen Commercial High School. After working at a local brick company, became independent in 1973. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Art Exhibition, Japan Ceramic Craft Exhibition, European Fine Art Exhibition in Copenhagen, Issuikai Exhibition, and other exhibitions. Won the Grand Prize and Governor’s Award at the Okayama Prefectural Exhibition. Held private exhibitions at the Mitsukoshi in Nihombashi, the Matsuzakaya in Nagoya, the Seibu in Ikebukuro, and other venues. Official Member of the Japan Craft Art Society.
