From Tokoname, Aichi. Graduated from the Ceramics Department at Tokoname High School and the Tokoname Ceramic Research Institute. Selected for the Choza Awards Ceramic Craft Exhibition and won the Honorable Mention Award. Won the ’81 Award and the New Ceramic Craft Artist Honorable Mention Award at the Asahi Ceramic Craft Exhibition. Selected for the Japan Ceramic Craft Exhibition. Avant-garde ceramic artist turned bonsai (potted plant) pot artist, using pen name “Bonsai”.
