From Tokushima Prefecture. Graduated from the Aichi Ceramic Training School. Studied under Yano Kan’ichi, the originator of the Otani ware kiln. Won Special Selection at the Tokushima Prefectural Exhibition. Won the Daisan Bunmei Award at the Daisan Bunmei Exhibition. Selected for the Shinsho Kogeikai Exhibition, Japan Traditional Craft Art Exhibition, Chunichi International Ceramic Craft Exhibition, and other exhibitions. Works focus on Kohiki and charcoal Yakishime. Official Member of the Japan Craft Art Society.
