From Arita. Studied under Ono Kozan and acquired techniques for Seihakuji at Kozan studio. Selected for the Nitten Exhibition for the first time in 1970 before being selected numerous other times, selling works to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and becoming a Fellow Member. Won the Japan Modern Craft Exhibition Modern Craft Award. Founding Member of the Japan New Craft Association. Won the Kyushu Modern Craft Exhibition Grand Prize and was a committee member. Won Second Place at the Kyushu Yamaguchi Exhibition. Won the Saga Prefectural Art Exhibition Association Award and was a member. Won the Prefectural Exhibition Governor’s Award. Director of the Prefectural Ceramic Association. Selected for the Japan Ceramic Exhibition and many other exhibitions and won awards. Works focus on celadon and red copper under glaze.
