From Okayama. Completed Kyoto Arts and Crafts University, Ceramic Major. Worked at Gifu Prefectural Ceramics Research Institute from 1970 in Kani. Built a kiln and became independent in 1974. Personal exhibition at Osaka Takashimaya Department Store, etc. Mainly works with Shino-ware, Oribe-ware, gosu painting and color glaze.
