Shoryu kiln. From Nanao, Ishikawa. Learned Kutani ware as a Ishikawa Prefectural Specialty Industrial Technique Trainee in 1973.
Later exhibited at the Traditional Craft Exhibition, Souzouten Exhibition, and other exhibitions and won numerous awards. Certified as a Kutani Ware Traditional Artisan by the Minister of International Trade and Industry in 1995. Used painted Kutani ware to produce elegant, refined works.
