From a young age, he devoted himself to the tea ceremony and gradually started making pottery. His productions focused on Shino, kuro-raku, Shigaraki, Bizen, etc., and he also excelled at making chashaku (bamboo tea spoons). He made presentations mainly in solo exhibitions.
