The 2nd generation Suzuki Seiko. Born as the 1st son of Suzuki Seiko from Kiyomizu, Kyoto. Studied under Tomimoto Kenkichi, who was in his later years, at Sennyu-ji, and made ceramics with him. Sought to pursue painting techniques. His designs for painting and compositions for porcelain pictures were similar to those of Tomimoto Kenkichi. Created many painted porcelain works and mainly presented these works at Nitten Exhibitions. Appointed as an Official Member of the Japan Craft Art Society, which was newly established, in his later years. Also became the 2nd generation upon the passing of his father (1st generation Seiko). Worked as a sculptor as well, carrying out activities with Yamamoto Kakuji and others. Also formed Sekidosha with Kusube Yaichi, Asami Ryuzo, Kano Mitsuo, and others and attracted attention as part of an innovative ceramic movement in Kyoto at the time.
Exhibited at the newly established Craft Art Department of the Kokuten Exhibition through his friendly relations with Tomimoto Kenkichi. Also won the Minister of Education’s Award at the Bunten Exhibition. After being part of the Teiten Exhibition, Newspaper Exhibition, and Nitten Exhibition, participated in the formation of the Shinshokogeikai Society led by Tomimoto. Then carried out pottery activities as an Official Member of the Japan Craft Art Society.
