Born in Kyoto. Studied under Kawai Seitoku. Selected for the Nitten, Japan New Crafts Exhibition, and Kyoto Exhibition for the first time in 1984, becoming a regular selection in the following years. Recipient of numerous awards including the Kyoto Exhibition Mayor of Kyoto’s Award. Work purchased twice by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Focused on producing vases, urns, tableware, and other items using delicate painting, inlaid patterns, and original patterns.
