From Ibaraki Prefecture. Wanted to pursue architecture and studied under Yamawaki Iwao and Kurata Kanetada. Served as a lecturer of crafts at Nihon University and studied under Miyanohara Ken after the war. Kofukai member, councilor and judge. Became a Japan Fine Arts Exhibition member in 1976 and left after that. Started making ceramic walls in 1970. Has made many ceramic walls, such as for the Mito City government office building, the Ryuseiha Ikebana Museum main building, the Ibaraki Prefecture Youth Meeting Hall, the Kamagaya City, Chiba Prefecture government office building, the Warabi City, Saitama Prefecture central elementary school, the Katsuta City, Ibaraki Prefecture Cultural Museum, etc. Has held an exhibition of ceramic tiles in Ginza Nagai Art Gallery and Akazaka Green G.
