From Hiroshima Prefecture. Completed training at the Kyoto National Ceramics Research Institute. Studied under Uno Sango and joined the Yonkokai. Received the Education Minister’s Prize in the Tokyo Japan Craft Exhibition, etc. Focuses on blue-and-white ceramics, kneading, inlay work, and kohiki (powdered) pottery. Committee member of the Takatsuki City Art Association. Judge for the Takatsuki City Exhibition.
