From Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture. Graduated from Waseda University. Trained at the Kyoto Pottery Training School and Industrial Research Institute before studying under Matsukaze Eiichi. Has won the SK prize at the Kofukai Kyoto Exhibition, etc. Selected for the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition, the New Crafts Exhibition, the Kyoto Exhibition, etc. Focuses on white porcelain and blue-and-white porcelain.
