Born in Kyoto City, Japan. The family business is an old Kyo-yaki tableware manufacturer. Studied under Ishiguro Munemaro since 1962 and was awarded a prize at the first Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition in 1965. He also has been awarded many prizes since then. A regular member of the Japan Artisans Society. Award of Excellence at the Japan Industrial Arts Kinki Exhibition, member of the appraisal committee Held solo exhibitions at Kyoto Takashimaya and other venues. Cizhou white porcelain, scraped porcelain and Jun ware.
