Born in Seto City. Graduated from the Seto Pottery High Shool. Went independent in 1982. Nominated in the Asahi Ceramics Exhibition, Japan New Crafts Exhibition, Chunichi International Ceramics Exhibition, and Nitten Exhibition. Held solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions at Tokyo’s Otemachi Gallery, Toetsu, Shibuya Seibu, and Nagoya’s Gallery Anri.
