Completed Aichi Prefectural Seto Ceramics High School ceramics course in 1990 before moving to Yokkaichi, Mie prefecture in 1992. Participated in the “Seeing the Container – Living the Life” Exhibition at Tokyo’s National Museum of Modern Art in 2000. Held his first solo exhibition in 2015 and continued to do so every year. Mainly focuses on producing tea-ware that combine tradition with originality and creativity.
